Getting an API Key

To access RunGen.AI's API, you need to generate an API key. Follow these steps to learn how

1. Log in to the Platform​

  • Visit platform.rungen.ai and log in with your credentials.
  • If you don't have an account, you can create one for free.

2. Access My Settings​

  • Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  • Select My Settings from the dropdown menu.

3. Generate a New API Key​

  • In the Account section, find the option to generate a new API key.
  • Click the Generate API Key button.

4. Name Your API Key​

  • Enter a descriptive name for your API key. This helps you identify it later.

5. Copy and Secure Your API Key​

Your API key grants read and write access to both your account and all organizations you are part of. If you lose your key, you will need to revoke it and generate a new one.

Make sure to copy your API key before closing the dialog.

  • The API key will be displayed once. Make sure to copy and save it securely.
